Why is the p226 so expensive
The Sig has a better trigger, the long double action is smooth with a crisp break and the single action is incredibly light, and can be fired very, very fast. I really like the trigger on the P Sig semi-automatic pistols have several built-in safety features that make them suitable for safe carry; and this model comes with an additional manual, thumb safety. Small form factor desktop and motherboard , a term covering smaller-than traditional form factors for computer components.
The primary difference between the two is the size of the casing. Some people recommend the corsair watt SFX, which is fine, but some reviews state issues as well. The lighter Glock, on the other hand, is a little easier to carry on a daily basis. Neither is decisively better than the other, leaving the choice between the two a matter of priorities and taste. Glocks can be sold only to law enforcement officers in Massachusetts, because consumer sales are banned under state law.
The materials used and the manufacturing processes employed to build a Sig P are more expensive than those of a Glock 17, so the Sig is more expensive. The Glock pistol line is designed for inexpensive manufacture. Sig Sauer has recently designed a modular polymer framed series of pistols with their new P A 9mm parabellum is woefully under powered to stop a bear. The cartridge was never designed for use against animals as large as a bear.
The short answer is no. It will not stop a bear. Sig Sauer makes by far the best polymer framed guns in the world and by far some of the most accurate and dependable pistols. You must accept the fact though…the grip frame is made to be almost disposable. Most of their manufacturing is done at their Exeter and Newington plants in New Hampshire, but for the older models and some of the more high maintenance designs the guns are still manufactured at their plant in Germany.
It is expensive only due to the fact that it is built to last. Look at the detail of the gun compared to say a Glock. The Glock has very cheaply designed parts where as the Sig has parts that resemble a good quality Sigs have internal safeties and the decocking lever.
Classic Sig are not meant to carry cocked, like a or so and with the decocking lever it is very safe to drop the hammer.
The only Sig pistols I know of, that have an external safety is the Sig , the P22x X-Series exept the allround version. The frames differ only in length and the width of the grip the P is a tad wider but not much. But there are some nice features on the Legion pistols.
Most of these can be added to a regular Nitron P and that is what I have done. If you really want a beavertail, the miniaturized decocker and slide stop levers, and the frame and slide modifications found on the Legion, then it is probably worth the price.
