Officially, all of these many churches are considered equal. Protestants are not open at all to papal primacy. According to the Evangelical view, this dogma contradicts statements in the Bible. Catholics see in the pope the successor of the Apostle Peter, the first head of their Church, who was appointed by Jesus.

The papal office is justified by an allegedly unbroken chain of consecrations, ranging from the first century to the present. This continuous chain, known as the apostolic succession, is overall significant for different spiritual offices in the Catholic Church. With the Sacrament of Holy Orders, bishops, priests and deacons receive a lifelong seal of God giving them sacramental authority over Catholic laypeople.

Though these are the few differences between Catholic Bible and Protestant Bible there are further new versions and modifications within these two bibles and yet they root back to the same origin. From the number of books to their views on pope , eucharist and praying to saints their opinions , beliefs and method of approach differs. Though they are different from each other in a few aspects the Protestant Bible originated by modifying and making few changes of the Roman Catholic Bible.

The Catholic Bible accepts both Hebrew and Septuagint scriptures. The Catholic Church has a pope, head of the church, and the Vatican city. On the other hand, the Protestants see the drink and bread as a symbol of the blood and body of Jesus.
